“She went off herself. Travelling the stars,” he shrugged, “left me, as I left her.”
“Oh..I’m sorry..”,she said and her eyes averted. “I-I didn’t choose how I look..and I’m still discovering how I act..Also discovered that pears are disgusting as well as corn dogs..”
“I know you didn’t choose. You shouldn’t even be apologizing about it. If anything, I wish I didn’t look like this either,” he frowned. “Pears aren’t too bad. Corn dogs? Never heard of em. And anyway, how long has it been since we spoke?”
“I believe it has been forever since we last spoke”,she said and her eyes wouldn’t look at him. “I missed talking to you..”
